4,000 Sq Ft Timber Frame Barn + Reclaimed Log Cabins

Greg first contacted us after purchasing a custom dovetail cabin we fabricated from reclaimed hickory sleeper logs salvaged from a barn in Indiana. His ranch in the La Sal Mountains near Moab, Utah already had an original saddle-notch cabin that he wanted restored for guest lodging. As the project grew, he decided the property also needed a reclaimed timber frame barn that matched the historic character of the cabins.
We sourced a rare gunstock timber frame barn from Indiana, deconstructed it, restored the frame, and shipped it to Utah for on-site assembly. Along with the barn frame, we supplied and installed reclaimed flooring, wall cladding, roof board, rafters, and custom-milled board and batten siding. We also assembled and finished both log cabins with reclaimed interior materials, chinking, roof framing, and insulation.
The result is a full reclaimed barn and log cabin compound built with historic material, traditional craft, and the care required to make old structures stand strong in a new place.
